Todd being artsy crafty

I thought he did a good job with these campfire pictures. Some of the best he's taken.

Alaina asleep at the evening campfire.

Feeling Small

Walking among the redwoods in Stout Grove. These were a couple of the smaller ones. We had such a great vacation.

This is inside a dead redwood that you had to skinny down a little hole in order to get into.

This is another redwood that Alaina thought was cool to stand in. If your wondering why the other boys aren't in this picture, it's because they ran ahead.

This is the redwood that you had to skinny down the hole to get inside. It was fun. We all went in including Alaina. Here she is being sweet and helping Dallin out of the hole, it was very cute.

Smith River fun

Mason about to jump off a huge rock and into a deep pool of crystal clear water.

Dallin and Hunter playing around. Todd and I didn't bring our swimsuits but the boys said the water wasn't that bad. Definatly was warmer than the rivers here.

We took turns floating down the river in our raft. By the time Alaina got her turn she was so tired she fell asleep.

Smith River

Aiden our little climber decided to climb the rock we were swiming around in the smith river.

Proud of his accomplishment he is posing for the camera.

Alaina trying to figure out how her brother did that.

Jedediah campground

Alaina wanted on this stump pretty bad so Todd helped her up and took a picture

As soon as he took the picture this is what happened everyone else wanted up and a picture of them as well.

We bought two more Rhode Island Red chicks so we now have a total of six. They are so cute. Funny but the boys didn't name these two. They named the other four, but can't tell them apart anymore so I think they figured why bother.

My ladies, at least that's what Todd calls them. They are about 10 weeks old. They love pecking around in the yard.

Gavin wanted his picture with them. Isn't he cute in shorts and boots.

Jack Sparrow

Hunter was in a short play that involved pirates. I thought I did a pretty good job as far as the make up goes.

Mothers retreat

Our mothers retreat was very relaxing. I read a book and took walks on the beach, and wrote some stories.

Mom and Terina spent a lot of time doing scrapbooking.

Ingela enjoying a moment of picture taking. Alesha was there as well but I didn't pull out my camera until she had left. I kept forgetting I had it.

Scout cake auction

This is the cake Dallin wanted to make for the auction. Due to procrastinating I had to do it while he was at school. He did help make the fist though. To bad I can't sculpt very well. His cake sold for $55. His grandpa Hogman bought it.

These next two cakes were ones that other people made, we bought the pizza cake.

Memorial Day-- Cleaning the graves

Aw mom my hair is a mess, don't take my picture now! It's a tradition to clean the graves of our ancestors on memorial day. It is a lot of fun and everyone generally gets involved. It is getting a little harder now that there are so many of us.

As you can see we look like quite the crowd.
