We bought two more Rhode Island Red chicks so we now have a total of six. They are so cute. Funny but the boys didn't name these two. They named the other four, but can't tell them apart anymore so I think they figured why bother.

My ladies, at least that's what Todd calls them. They are about 10 weeks old. They love pecking around in the yard.

Gavin wanted his picture with them. Isn't he cute in shorts and boots.

Those are all wierd comments! It looks like you've got some junk mail going... I just don't know how that stuff gets involved. Anyhow... Love the pictures. It is good to see the chickens and Gavin are getting along. I would have believed he would be stomping on their heads or tearing their wings off or something like that... but it appears everything is under control :). Love ya.

Agree with Travis on the wierdo comments! Crazy! But the chicks are adorable! I hope they know what they are in for, or maybe not so they can enjoy what little life they have left :) But Gavin is such a stud! I bet all your kids are enjoying having so many fun pets around! And I'm very envious of the eggs you are getting! Remind me to come over for breakfast next time we are in town.

Mason made a dolittle family sign that he stuck on our door, due to all of our fun animals. We currently have 2 dogs, 1 cat, 6 chickens, 2 parakeets, 1 gerbil and next week we will also have a hamster. oops I forgot the hermit crab. It is amazing how no one understands the sign. Didn't anyone watch Dr. Dolittle. Mabee just a generation gap thing.
